Everyone is well aware of the tremendous power and segulah of the great Bas Ayin ZY”A. Even today, nearly 200 years after his passing, his reach and impact only continue to grow and expand.

The Bas Ayin famously devoted his life to the well-being of Yidden and Yiddishkeit in the holy city of Tzfas. Despite not leaving any biological children, his memory and legacy live on today in Mosdos Bas Ayin, a cheder that is true to its name and true to the tzaddik’s mesiras nefesh.

This mossed was founded by members of the frum community in Tzfas and the surrounding areas who wished to raise their children the right way, in a pure environment. Many of these children come from impoverished homes, and their only warm meal every day is what they are served in cheder.

Now, with the difficult matzav in Israel, the communities in Tzfas near the border face increased tension, with the children regularly forced to run for shelter and their lives in disarray.

With the yahrtzeit of the Bas Ayin upon us, a time when Yidden see tremendous yeshuos by connecting to the tzaddik, we have an opportunity to support the children who are his legacy and who perpetuate his holy ways. This is how the tzaddik would like to be honored and connected with!
